Dancing Wheels Company

Everybody Dance, Now!!

October 1, 2010 marks the 30th anniversary of the Dancing Wheels Company, this significant milestone would serve as the catalyst for a nationwide inclusive dance day in which a public display of dance that includes dancers with and without disabilities takes place. The event in each city could be carved out individually, in other words, some could hold a "dancing in the streets" event at a public plaza much like the "flash mob" dances going on or others could do a class that is in a mall or another public place.

These events would all happen on October 1, during 11:00 & 1:00 in your local time zone and video taped. Our station manager at WKYC T.V 3, an NBC affiliate has agreed to accept the videos from each participating company and get them to the national news network, along with some interviews from some of the companies. The story would make a greater impact because it shows a concerted effort throughout the nation. In addition, I would be happy to provide a basic press release that each Company can add to with their own details regarding their company, this could be sent out in each city to bring additional local attention. Each company can also use social media to further the information and encourage participation.

In Cleveland, we are working with our Convention & Visitor's bureau and city officials to make this event possible. It seems to have triggered a great deal of interest so if you are interested in participating, please let me know and I will work closely with you to insure that this will be a great event!

If you need to talk with me, please feel free to reach me at either my office at 216-432-0306 or my cell 216-272-1494
